Teaching and Assessing PULs 5 & 6

When: Thursday, November 12, 2009 | 10:30 AM-11:59 AM
Where: CE 307

PUL 5, Understanding Society and Culture, has the following learning outcomes for students:

PUL 6, Value and Ethics, has the following learning outcomes for students:

These learning outcomes appear vast and complex.  How can these be implemented into your classroom?  What teaching methods will support these kind of learning outcomes?  How will we know our students are learning these outcomes?  These questions and more will be explored in this workshop, including concrete examples from faculty successfully integrating these PUL’s into their curriculum.

Registering for Events

All CTL-sponsored events are free, and most are open to the entire campus and/or the public. All participants, however, are asked to register online in advance. We use the registration data to generate nametags and attendance sheets, as well as to ensure that we have sufficient materials, seating, and food (in the case of longer events). When you complete your registration, you will receive an immediate email confirmation. A follow-up reminder will be sent the day before the event occurs. Should you need to cancel your registration, please contact us by phone (317-274-1300) or e-mail.
